And they call it poppy love

Hi guys,

It's the middle of the week...I'm cold and I'm tired. The days are getting shorter, it's starting to get harder to wake up early in the morning with that brrrr feeling, and it's been pretty busy at work.  On any other day like this, I would be frustrated and annoyed, and would probably swear like crazy. But since I'm still on cloud 9, none of these things bother me...I'm still on London mood!

There are so many beautiful places in London, that you could probably see or do something new every single day for a year. Whether we're talking about a musical, an exhibition, a festival, a food market, you could definitely fill your days with great experiences. We tried to do some of these things during our stay. Beside the usual top attractions, we also visited two amazing markets: Borough and Greenwich. In Borough, we ate food we couldn't even name, and in Greenwich we bought this stunning kaleidoscope form a cool dude who was making them. I'm telling you: I could have stayed there for days! It was awesome!

I can't wait for the next London trip! I have a full list of things I want to do! Until then, though, here are some pictures in which you will easily recognize the beautiful Tower Bridge, The Tower of London, and the newest attraction, the Shard. If you get to London, don't miss the opportunity to see the breathtaking views of the city at sunset from the Shard's 72nd floor. It's quite the spectacle!

Hugs!

I dreamed a dream

Hi guys,

I am back :). It has been too long since my last post, but I've been pretty busy getting married and honeymooning :). I'm dying to tell you all about my wedding day, but I think I'll wait until I get the pictures from our photographers and share them with you guys! I will say one thing though: it was perfect- we had a beautiful weather, we had our family and friends with us the whole day, it was emotional and teary at times :P and now it almost seems like a dream!

For our honeymoon, we decided to go to London. We'd been wanting to go there for a while, so this seemed like the perfect occasion! We left 2 days after our wedding, and we were there for 8 days- not nearly enough, if you ask me...!

I love to travel, and I've seen a lot of places, but London has become my favorite city so far! Historic buildings and monuments, parks, cultural attractions, such a diversity of people...everything adds up to offer an amazing experience.

On our very first evening in London, my husband surprised me with tickets for a musical. We saw "Les Miserables", at the Queen's Theatre. This was definitely a highlight of our trip there! I was blown away by the performance, the music, the audience and even now, almost 2 weeks later, I still play the songs in my head and get goosebumps thinking about it. It was legendary! We were so impressed with the experience that the moment we got to the hotel that night, we booked tickets for another amazing musical, "The book of mormon", at the Prince of Wales Theatre. It was different from Les Mis, obviously, but we loved it so much! It was so funny, energetic, and clever! And as big South Park fans, we could totally see the same type of humor!

We were lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful autumn weather during our stay (we had our worries :P), which allowed us to wonder the city's streets, the beautiful parks and all that London had to offer!

Have a lovely weekend (despite the weather outside)!

Hugs,

Mamalina

P.S. The layering was unintentional, our first day in London was a bit colder than the rest, so the vest was required! :)

The week before

Hi guys,

I hope you won't mind me being short of words today, but with only a few days left until my wedding, I'm a bit derailed :). As most of you know, I'm a big fan of skirts and dresses, but this time I wanted to try something a little more different. I fell in love with these cute shorts the moment I saw them! I adore the fabric and those colors are simply amazing! I have to thank them for taking me out of my comfort zone :), it's fun doing it from time to time!

I wish you all an amazing week and a I wish myself a sunny weekend :P!

Talk to you soon!

Love,
Mamalina
