Seasons in the sun...

Hi guys,

How about this weather, huh? Isn't it simply amazing? I went outside today, wearing a maxi skirt and a sleeveless shirt and after 10 minutes in the sun, I was sweating like a pig :)). It made me wonder: what the heck am I supposed to wear in August?!?...Underwear?!? Jokes aside, the weather was beautiful this weekend, and I couldn't be happier.

Yesterday we celebrated our cousins's civil marriage. We (and 70 other guests :P) joined them to the Mayor's office to get their marriage certificate and afterwards headed to a nice restaurant to celebrate this important event! It was a fun day, filled with emotion.

The religious ceremony will take place on the 29th of June, in France, and I can hardly wait. They rented this beautiful castle and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a fairy tale wedding!

In bloom...

Sun, joy, happiness, love, family! This is what today was all about! I had the most wonderful time on a perfect Saturday, at my grandparents' house, surrounded by my dear ones.

It was a day full of sweet memories, of re-living my childhood. My beautiful childhood at my grandparents' house is the one constant that never changes in my life's equation...And each time I visit that place I have this strange feeling that the time stood still, that I'm just a happy kid, riding my grandpa's rusty old bike, acting silly, eating tons of food without thinking about my stupid diet...

 Time goes by so fast, and it seems like all I ever focus on these days is how to get through the working week without pulling my hair out :)) (stressful times...). I spent so much time waiting for the weekend/ holidays to come that I literally didn't realize that it was already mid April...auch! How do I slow down time? When will life stop rushing by?!?

Sorry for the pessimistic note of this post...! I was pretty happy today actually! It just got me thinking that  maybe I should slow down and relax a little bit! Shouldn't we all?

Start wearing purple...

Hi guys,

Let me tell you why I was so upset about the weather lately...I'm obsessed with dresses, and when I say obsessed I mean I own over 50 dresses (I stopped counting them after a while). Not to mention the many skirts that somehow made their way into my wardrobe... So, it is easy to understand why I was so anxious about the arrival of Spring...This season is perfect because I can still add some layers and "dress" my dresses...

This Sunday the weather was perfect for a little dress up :) and a walk in the park, followed by a nice barbecue with my closest friends (Don't worry, I didn't wear the dress to the barbecue :P).

Now it's raining...again, but I'm happy the rain didn't ruin my weekend...During the working days it can rain cats and dogs and I could't care much...My weekdays are already pretty much ruined because I have to go to work...:).

Guilty pleasures...

Hello guys,

I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I have an uncontrollable handicap: I'm a compulsive shopper :)!

This time, it wasn't work related stress that triggered my major shopping spree over the weekend, but this damn rainy weather that is simply getting on my nerves! Still, even though I will most probably starve to death until the end on the month, I just looooove my new babies!

How do you guys deal with compulsive shopping (cause I refuse to believe that I'm the only one who has this "issue"...am I right?!?)?
