Little by little, one travels far... {Spain Travel Diary}

Warning: enormous amount of photos :)

Hi guys,

Today I'll be sharing photos from the day we visited Alhambra, in Granada. Alhambra is probably the most famous of all Moorish monuments in Andalucia. It is also the most visited! From far away, you can barely catch a glimpse at its imposing walls, but you can't imagine the delicate beauty that fills the inside of those walls!  It was one of my favorite places from the entire trip. I read that the moors wanted to create heaven on earth when they first started to build the Alhambra. And now, after visiting it, I say they got pretty close! I've never seen so many fantastic details, such a magnificent architecture, so many different types of flowers in my whole life! Built on a rocky hill, with some amazing views of the city of Granada, Alhambra is truly spectacular.

If you plan on visiting those places, I suggest you book your tickets in advance, because you might not find tickets on-spot. Also, take into consideration that you need a full day to visit the citadel.

I hope you guys will enjoy these posts as much as I do. For me, it's like re-living those experiences. To be honest, I notice more details in the pictures than I actually did while I was over there... I guess it was difficult to take in all the beauty that was surrounding me. I'm not kidding, it was pretty overwhelming!

I wish you all a wonderful week ahead!

Talk to you soon!

Mamalina

P.S. A small disclaimer: you will be seeing much of the same hat, the same pair of sunglasses and same bag in all my travel related posts. Hope you don't mind :)! With limited luggage and all, I couldn't afford to bring more accessories with me on the trip!

Many hugs!

  1. Ohmy, the landscapes and the detail shots are stunning! Oh, how I love travel photos <3 And it's super cute how your culottes kind of match the mosaic tiles :)

No worries about the limited amount of accessories, we can all relate to that!

    Hugs,
    S.

Am fost si eu in Barcelona si Tenerife. Imi place la nebunie. Prima oara cand am ajuns in spania am zis ca aici ma mut, daca e sa am de unde alege sa stau in alta parte decat in romania.

Zi faina si mai asteptam postari cu poze frumoase :P

  4. Wanderlust! This post feeds my wanderlust, and it's not like I wasn't already craving badly for a getaway! I can't even begin to imagine how magnificent it all looks and feels when you're actually there, but the photos are pretty magical. The kind you want to see over and over again!

And you look so effortlessly chic and put-together, which is always a struggle for me when I travel and have to walk for days ^_^ Love the look and the accessories, I sure won't mind seeing them again!

Many hugs, beautiful lady! Can't wait for the rest of the photos!
