After a busy and emotional weekend (Alex and I went to our hometown for our high-school 10 years reunion), I'm back with a new post!
Today I'm sharing some pictures from the day we visited Malaga. We started the day by visiting the Alcazaba, a beautiful palatial fortification. Going there in the morning was the best decision because we were the only ones there, so we got to explore it at our own pace, without it being filled with tourists.
Afterwards, we went to meet out guide for the walk-and-talk tour that we had booked. Since we only had half a day to visit the city's historic center, we thought that a guided tour would be the best use of our time in Malaga, and we were right! Victor, our guide, was super funny and we had such a great time walking around the streets with him, learning some things about the city of Malaga and tasting some of the local food. He took us to eat chocolate and churros (a local specialty), and to the Atarazanas market where we tasted everything from bacon, cheese, to almonds, olives and many other yummy stuff. After the tour was over, we went back to Atarazanas to eat some extremely tasty tapas. The food in Malaga was definitely one of the best from the entire holiday.
Having satisfied our appetite, we then went to the Malaga Automobile Museum: more than 90 amazing cars together with design and fashion items, displayed in such a way as to show how the society has progressed and how cars and fashion have always shared the love for beauty. The museum is a must if you go to Malaga!
I hope you'll enjoy the photos and I'll soon come back with more!
Have a great week!
