It's always a bit sad to say goodbye to a year, especially when I look back to all the things that happened and changed my life. 2014 was a huge year for me, the high point being the fact that I got married. So it's only natural that I get nostalgic when I think about it. But at the same time, I look forward to what 2015 will bring.
A new year: fresh start, hopes, dreams and aspirations! I love this feeling of confidence and courage, when I make plans, when I'm hopeful and excited and I paint the image of a perfect year to come.
Let me wish you all a very fruitful year ahead, immense happiness in all you do, health and love! I hope you had a great time celebrating New Year's Eve and the mini holiday! I sure tried to make the most of it: I partied, I spent time with my friends and my favorite part- I went snowboarding (Yaaay!).
Bucharest is still under the white blanket (which is starting to get a bit dirty btw :P) and now that the holidays are over, I'm not sure how I feel about all the snow and the freezing cold. Going to work tomorrow after that many free days and a couple of white nights is going to be like a slap in the face :). But as I'm saying this, all those brave words come rushing into my mind: courage, confidence, excitement, optimism... So I say: Bring it on, first Monday of 2015! I'm so ready! :)

ReplyDeleteSnowboarding, I honestly wanted to try that for a while now, but never got the actual courage. Tell me please, is it easier than skiing or not? Do you feel in more control or the opossite? :)) I just need to get an idea how it feels like.
And, man, I honestly can't believe how much snow is in Bucharest, it looks amazing and so do you :D Cute sweater ;)

About snowboarding, I wouldn't say it's easier than skiing but I find it a lot more fun: you get to turn backside, frontside, then link turns, there are new tricks all the time, you never get bored! The first time on the board might seem a bit harder than the first time skiing, but after you get used to the correct body posture and you learn some basic steps, it will became a lot more interesting a fun! I for one didn't use a monitor, some friends taught me the basics and I also learned a lot by watching and observing how other people do it! Hugs!
