Lost in transition

Here we go again! It happens every year, yet it always succeeds to annoy the crap out of me... As snow melts, it leaves behind an ugly mess: potholes, garbage, former Christmas trees :). It is not a pleasant sight! After the holidays are over, winter tends to loose its magical charm, doesn't it?

Thankfully, I live with the anticipation of spring: green grass, flowers in bloom, warm weather, longer days. And this makes the transition less painful.

Last weekend, in the process of searching for a nice place to take some photos, I was glad to find the Botanical Garden that was still untamed, beautiful and enchanting in spite of the major snowmelt. I can't wait for spring to come to this gorgeous, nature friendly place. It feels like it's been a long winter, and as much as I love spending time at home during chilly days, all cozied up in my bed, I can't help but feeling excited about the spring revival: fun activities with friends, road trips, long walks in the parks and gardens on warm afternoons...
