I dreamed a dream

Hi guys,

I am back :). It has been too long since my last post, but I've been pretty busy getting married and honeymooning :). I'm dying to tell you all about my wedding day, but I think I'll wait until I get the pictures from our photographers and share them with you guys! I will say one thing though: it was perfect- we had a beautiful weather, we had our family and friends with us the whole day, it was emotional and teary at times :P and now it almost seems like a dream!

For our honeymoon, we decided to go to London. We'd been wanting to go there for a while, so this seemed like the perfect occasion! We left 2 days after our wedding, and we were there for 8 days- not nearly enough, if you ask me...!

I love to travel, and I've seen a lot of places, but London has become my favorite city so far! Historic buildings and monuments, parks, cultural attractions, such a diversity of people...everything adds up to offer an amazing experience.

On our very first evening in London, my husband surprised me with tickets for a musical. We saw "Les Miserables", at the Queen's Theatre. This was definitely a highlight of our trip there! I was blown away by the performance, the music, the audience and even now, almost 2 weeks later, I still play the songs in my head and get goosebumps thinking about it. It was legendary! We were so impressed with the experience that the moment we got to the hotel that night, we booked tickets for another amazing musical, "The book of mormon", at the Prince of Wales Theatre. It was different from Les Mis, obviously, but we loved it so much! It was so funny, energetic, and clever! And as big South Park fans, we could totally see the same type of humor!

We were lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful autumn weather during our stay (we had our worries :P), which allowed us to wonder the city's streets, the beautiful parks and all that London had to offer!

Have a lovely weekend (despite the weather outside)!

Hugs,

Mamalina

P.S. The layering was unintentional, our first day in London was a bit colder than the rest, so the vest was required! :)

The week before

Hi guys,

I hope you won't mind me being short of words today, but with only a few days left until my wedding, I'm a bit derailed :). As most of you know, I'm a big fan of skirts and dresses, but this time I wanted to try something a little more different. I fell in love with these cute shorts the moment I saw them! I adore the fabric and those colors are simply amazing! I have to thank them for taking me out of my comfort zone :), it's fun doing it from time to time!

I wish you all an amazing week and a I wish myself a sunny weekend :P!

Talk to you soon!

Love,
Mamalina

Full heart

Hi guys,

Wow, I've been really swamped lately and haven't had the time to breathe...With only 2 more weeks left until my wedding, I'm in over my head with planning the last details, and as if this wasn't enough, I'm also fighting a multitude of emotions that don't allow me to focus :).

In other news, we got our marriage licence last Saturday, in our hometown, surrounded by family and close friends! It was such an amazing day! I can't wait to show you the pictures!

While I was busy getting things done for my big day, autumn really settled in, now didn't it? Yesterday, I was a bit more relaxed (my bridesmaids took me to the spa and a much needed massage session- such a huge surprise) so I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous autumn light and take some pictures.

So here it is: my first outfit post as a newly married woman! My Gosh, it sounds a little awkward, but in a sweet way...married woman...:).

Have a lovey week you guys!

Love,

Mamalina

Fall Fashion

Autumn is my favorite season for many reasons! The changing colors in nature, the chilly evenings spent at home, eating comfort food and watching new episodes of my favorite TV shows, and last but not the least, the autumn wardrobe! Cozy knit wear, ankle boots, hats...what's not to love? Not to mention the all mighty layering, which allows me to be creative and playful and put together dozens of outfit combinations...

For the moment, I'm still transitioning from summer to autumn, but the change in fabrics and colors in my wardrobe is quite noticeable. And my love for fall fashion will become more and more obvious!

Have a wonderful evening!

Love,

Mamalina
