I was made for sunny days

Hi guys,

I've just about had it with the moody weather. I'm a Spring child, so it goes without saying that it is my favorite season. But for the past two weeks or so I've had a rough time maintaining my feelings towards it. And as if the gloomy, rainy weather wasn't enough, I've also been having some killer days at work... Oh, well... Let's just say there were some sleep-eat-work-repeat few weeks for me.

And whilst my work situation doesn't show signs of improvement, at least the weather has gotten a lot nicer these past days. This helped with my mood and gave me a bit of energy to get through another week.

In order to celebrate the sunny Sunday, I wore this beautiful dusty pink lace dress that I absolutely adore. It is a bit out of my comfort zone, but I promised I would allow myself to experiment a lot more this year. I hope you guys will enjoy the photos and the outfit.

Gloom Bloom

Hi guys,

Today it was freezing outside, such a cold, windy day. brrrr. I'm so tired of this moody weather! For today I thought I would show you a casual outfit, something I'm comfortable wearing when I run errands, or when I'm not in the mood for skirts and dresses (which does happen often, especially during cold seasons). This is also what I wear to work on casual Fridays. Nothing too fancy, but I still try to keep it fun by adding some cute accessories, like the bag. Sorry about my messy hair guys, all cold days are bad hair days as far as I'm concerned :P.

On a more optimistic note, we finally decided where to go on our summer holiday, and it's going to be France (Provence and Cote D'Azur, yeeeey). We bought the tickets yesterday, we'll be going there in August. We haven't set out all the details and the complete itinerary, but I'll keep you posted on that. Anyways, I'm super excited, I finally have something to look forward to!

Birthday Girl

Hi guys!

So... this happened: I turned 30! My birthday was on March 5th, this past Saturday, on a beautiful, sunny Spring day. I have to admit I was a bit scared about turning the big 30. That's mainly because I'm such a child at heart, I still feel like I'm in my teens. And then I realized that age has nothing to do with how I feel like, that I can keep on being the same old goofball, the same playful kid, spoiled and needy :). I'm so thankful for everything in my life, my amazing husband, my extended family, my super cool and smart friends. So, bring it on, 30's! I am ready!

I not such a fan of big parties, but I did have some friends over for a little celebration. We had cheese and wine and cake, of course. I had a lot of fun with the cheese boards, and I think they turned out pretty awesome :P.
