Summer on my mind

Hi guys,

The weekend was gorgeous: sunny skies, warm temperatures, laid back activities with friends- everything I could wish for! On Saturday I went biking with my best friend and we had such a great time. The parks were full of people soaking in the sun, there were flowers and blossoms everywhere, it felt so alive. It really gave me the energy I needed to start a new week.

With only two more weeks left until my Spanish holiday, I'm already getting into the packing fever  :)). Yup, I'm one of those "early packers" :P, I like to make lists, organize my outfits without being in a hurry. I usually lay my suitcase open in the living room about two-three weeks before I leave, and gradually start putting in everything I want to bring with me on holiday. This year I have a new goal: to avoid taking more that I would actually get to wear... Wish me luck, it's a long shot :)!  Me and Alex are sharing the luggage, so we have to be really smart at packing our stuff. We'll see how that goes!

It seems that summer is making an early appearance (this past weekend stands as proof), and I could't be happier. As a travel enthusiast, I'm planning lots of fun escapades for the summer. Let the travel season begin :).

Hey there, birdies!

First of all, thank you so much for your comments on the previous post, they meant a lot! Hope you're having a great weekend so far, despite the weather. I've been trying to get the most out of these 2 days of weekend by doing some household chores and planning a little kitchen redecoration. So I wasn't bothered by the small storm that hit the city.. Thankfully, I was fortunate enough to catch some sun in the morning before the rain started and I took these photos. I simply adore this season, it's such a spectacle of nature... I mean, just look at this magnolia tree! Isn't it just breathtaking?

On a different note, I have less than a month until my Spanish holiday and I'm getting super excited about it! I cannot wait to explore all those beautiful places, it's been my dream for so long to visit the south of Spain. We've rented a car, so I bet it's going to be quite an amazing adventure.

Another exciting thing is the new season of GOT that started last week. I read somewhere that things are going to happen that are different from the books, so I'm really curious to see how the story develops!

As you can see, I definitely have summer on my mind: holidays, music festivals, sea, movie nights with friends and all the things pretty!

Hi guys,

I hope you all had a wonderful time during the holidays. The weather was amazing, perfect for some quality time spent with family and close ones! This year, my heart was incomplete, because I recently lost someone very dear to me! Thankfully, I have a beautiful family and we always guide each other through hard times, we know how to grieve but we also know how to celebrate life! I am so grateful for the special people around me, the wonderful memories that I cherish so much and the life we're living!

I wish you all an amazing week ahead! Spring is finally here, in every tree, every flower and every soul!

Little darling

Hi guys,

Time flies and we're already approaching Easter... Days are longer, the trees are in bloom. You would think that Spring has settled in... Well, if it has, it seems to have also brought some friends along: rain and wind! Last weekend was cold and rainy, so I was very happy to wake up to a sunny day this Saturday morning. Of course, it was still chilly and windy outside, but even the smallest amount of sunshine can do wonders to my mood. We decided to take a walk in the park to soak up a little sun and check out some of the traditional Easter markets. We came home with lots of sweets for my sweet and some handmade treasures for myself :). It was a good day! The weather has been a bit disappointing so far this Spring, but I do hope it will get warmer soon! It seems like forever since I last wore a t-shirt and sandals... such a long winter!
