Now that the Spring is in the air...

Saturday truly felt like a Spring day. Not only was it sunny, but it was warm and fresh! It was a clear sign that the season of rebirth is not far away! Beside warmer temperatures, fresh air and flowers in bloom, Spring also means the celebration of the most important people in my life: my husband, both my parents, and of course, myself! We'll have a lot of special days during the next couple of months, and I'm super excited and grateful that my family and friends are healthy. They continuously brighten my days!

On Saturday one of my best friends turned 30 and threw this super fun pink themed party and we had a blast (you might have seen pictures on Instagram), tomorrow is Alex's birthday and also Dragobete... So yeah, lots of celebrations! It's like the holiday season for me :)!

As far as my outfit is concerned, I have to say that it's one of my favorite combinations ever! I love how the two prints mix, I even bought pajamas with these prints! I'm obsessed! I thought I'd rock my wedding shoes with a more casual look, so here they are, talking a walk in the park, all dressed down :).

Spring wishlist

My kind of love

Hi guys,

It's been a while since my last post and I could't wait to get back on the blogosphere! Sadly, my beloved photographer-husband has been a bit sick during the last couple of weeks, so I could't drag him with me to photo shoots (just an ear infection, nothing too serious, but still...). Now he's feeling better, so we took advantage of the sun showing its face on Saturday to capture our own celebration of love (or should I say my celebration of love :P)

We don't actually celebrate Valentine's Day, not because we have something against it, but because Alex is born on the 24th of February, on Dragobete, so we always celebrate on that day. But with all the craziness surrounding V-Day, it was impossible not to get a little caught up in the moment :). So here I am, wearing a fancy tulle skirt (that I absolutely adore), almost having LOVE written all over me... heart balloons and all :).

Just ROLL with it :)

Hi guys,

This weekend was so fun, in spite of the cold weather. On Saturday, we went to our friends' house to make sushi and play some board games. Delicious homemade sushi, fun activities and "vintage" music from the 90s- this pretty much sums up my Saturday evening. Me and my friends, we like to get together and organize these cooking sessions from time to time. And of all the things that we have done, I'll have to say that sushi definitely involves the most teamwork. Everybody has to get down and get dirty if we want to finish and enjoy it! But in the end, it's all so good, we wanna cry(and we actually do, because of the wassabi sauce :P).

For this evening with friends, I opted for a very casual and comfortable outfit: jeans and an over-sized sweater. But since wearing jeans is a rare thing for me, I simply had to immortalize the look. I'm becoming more and more attracted to jeans, I like that I can get get creative with them- which seemed impossible to me. So I guess you'll be seeing more of me in jeans from now on. The outfit was simple, so I thought of giving it a more edgy touch with the boots and the layered necklace. I was very pleased with the result!

On a different note, it's February already! Spring is just around the corner and I couldn't be more excited. I can notice the days getting longer, which for me is a major mood lifter! We'll have to wait some more for warmer temperatures, but anyway... things are going in the right direction :)!
